About Embertail

Embertail is a software developer in the United Kingdom, building apps for Atlassian Cloud.

The first app, Pivot & Roll-up Reports for Jira, came from wanting pivot tables and hierarchy roll-ups that run natively in Jira Cloud, without sending data to anyone else’s servers.

How the apps are built

• On Atlassian Forge. The apps run on Atlassian’s own platform and qualify for Runs on Atlassian, so customer data stays within Atlassian.
• Read what they need, nothing more. Permissions are kept to the minimum, and every report respects each person’s own Jira access.
• Supported by the developer who wrote them. Email support at embertail.co.uk; questions never go to a ticket queue.
